Jonathan is a very versatile pianist, capable of playing straight-ahead jazz, funk, R&B and fusion. . Blind since the age of 14, Jonathan's heightened awareness of sound helped him create vibrant, colorful music matching his love to life and ambition.

 

Although he began to take piano lessons when he was 9, after he became blind, he started all over again and developed very quickly, giving his first concert at the age of 18, in Israel.

 

The interesting thing about Jonathan’s music is that you can tell it was composed intuitively. The pieces are full of rich harmonies and improvisation and they move in unexpected ways.

 

Jonathan exhibited prodigious talent and won music scholarships. He was a student at the Rimon School of Music in Israel and later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where he studied piano with Ray Santisi and others. Both schools he finished with the greatest honors.

 

Nowadays Jonathan is working on his first release, that includes the music you are about to hear on this site.
